Baseball Recap: Arrowhead Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Arrowhead extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping their season record up to 9-3 in the process. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Waukesha West Wolverines a 1-0 shutout. Surprisingly, this marked the Warhawks' sixth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Jack Roventini tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, Arrowhead saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Yamato Takahashi, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

As for Waukesha West, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7. The match marked the first time this season in which they were not able to get on the board.

On Waukesha West's side, Dylan Schreiber spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up eight Ks.
