Baseball Game Preview: St. Louis Catholic Saints vs. Barbe Buccaneers

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, St. Louis Catholic turned things around against Benton on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tigers, sneaking past 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Saints have posted against the Tigers since March 10, 2023.

Meanwhile, Barbe had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Rams. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Buccaneers have posted since April 25, 2024.

St. Louis Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Barbe, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.
