The Telfair County Trojans's game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They breezed by Jeff Davis at home to the tune of 60-13. With Telfair County ahead 31-4 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Leading Telfair County to victory were Passion Clay and Zah'Mya McDuffie. Clay scored 16 points along with five assists and two steals, while McDuffie scored 22 points along with five rebounds and two steals. McDuffie is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Ty'Teionna Jones was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds and three blocks.
Telfair County's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Jeff Davis, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
