Volleyball Recap: King Philip Regional Warriors vs. Xaverian Brothers Hawks

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Weymouth, King Philip Regional was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Xaverian Brothers Hawks.

King Philip Regional walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 17-25, 25-14, 25-23.

Jett Tucker paced King Philip Regional's offense, picking up ten kills. Tucker got some help from Hayden Patel and his 30 assists. Patel was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

The win got King Philip Regional back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, King Philip Regional will face off against Milford at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Xaverian Brothers, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Bellingham at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
