Soccer Game Preview: Mount Pisgah Academy vs. Veritas Christian Academy

The Mount Pisgah Academy Mountaineers will take on the Veritas Christian Academy Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mount Pisgah Academy has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with three straight defeats, while Veritas Christian Academy will come in with three straight wins.

Mount Pisgah Academy came up short against The Franklin School of Innovation on Tuesday, falling 4-1.

The Mountaineers' goal came courtesy of Hudson Guenin, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Veritas Christian Academy). They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over Haywood Christian Academy on Monday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 5-1.

Veritas Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Mount Pisgah Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1.
