Volleyball Recap: Everett Find Success

Everett took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Snohomish, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Seagulls skirted past the Panthers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Seagulls have posted against the Panthers since October 26, 2021.

Ava Urbanozo had an outrageously good game as she had 20 digs, two aces, and one block. That's the most digs she has posted since back in November of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Snohomish lost on Wednesday, don't look at Ashley Rice. Despite the final result, she had 20 digs.

The win made it two in a row for Everett and bumps their season record up to 8-5. As for Snohomish, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.

Everett wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Marysville-Pilchuck on the 27th. As for Snohomish, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Shorewood on the 27th.
