Basketball Recap: Academia Avance Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Academia Avance, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in December of 2024. They came out on top against the Alliance Bloomfield Bulls by a score of 36-29 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Guerreros Jaguares, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Academia Avance's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Alliance Bloomfield, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Academia Avance will head out to square off against CALS Early College at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alliance Bloomfield, they will square off against Collins Family at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
