Basketball Game Preview: Preston Knights vs. Keyser Golden Tornado

The Preston Knights will venture away from home to take on the Keyser Golden Tornado at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Preston beat St. Albans 55-50.

Preston's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaden Bachtel, who posted 17 points. Aidan Schmidl was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Keyser). They walked away with a 65-54 win over Frankfort last Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Tornado.

Preston's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Keyser, their win ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Preston came up short against Keyser when the teams last played back in January, falling 52-48. Can Preston avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
