Volleyball Recap: Lowry Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Lowry, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Sparks Railroaders on Thursday. The Buckaroos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Railroaders, too.

The final score came out to 25-23, 24-26, 25-15, 25-14.

Lexi Hernandez paced Lowry's offense, picking up eight kills. Hernandez really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 14. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Lowry is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for Sparks, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Lowry will face off against Wooster at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sparks, they will take on Dayton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
