Volleyball Recap: Dade County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Dade County was the 2-0 winner over Armuchee when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolverines fell 3-1 to the Indians on Monday.

While Dade County ultimately came up short, they really made Armuchee work, particularly in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-10, 20-25, 27-25.

Caroline Bell paced Dade County's offense, picking up 18 kills. Bell got some help from Myah York and her 18 assists. Taylor Shrader controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Armuchee found their leader in sophomore Ava Grace Crump, who had 38 assists and ten digs. Those 38 assists set a new season-high mark for Crump.

Dade County's defeat dropped their record down to 23-13. As for Armuchee, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 24-13.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Dade County and Central will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Armuchee, they have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Gordon Lee on the 7th.
