Prairie du Chien has gone 9-1 against Richland Center recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Blackhawks will host the Hornets at 5:00 p.m.

Prairie du Chien fell victim to Onalaska and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 8-0 to the Hilltoppers. The Blackhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Prairie du Chien saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was April Smith, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Meanwhile, Richland Center came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 4-0 shutout.

Ithaca's batters probably weren't too happy with Kyree Fischer, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 16 Ks (she gave up a single walk). Fischer has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 16 consecutive appearances.

Richland Center's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-7. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Prairie du Chien, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.
