Volleyball Recap: Providence Day Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Providence Day and Charlotte Christian, and Providence Day kept the tradition alive. The Chargers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Knights on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Chargers: when they faced off against the Knights last Tuesday, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Providence Day walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 19-25, 25-16, 25-23.

Austen Graziano paced Providence Day's offense, picking up 17 kills. Graziano got some help from Ella Buelow and her 29 assists. Buelow was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Providence Day pushed their record up to 12-10 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Charlotte Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-10.

Looking ahead, Providence Day will challenge Charlotte Latin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Charlotte Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
