Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Evangel Christian Academy walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 42-22 margin over the Chambers Academy Rebels on Friday. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Evangel Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Symone McNeil led the charge by going 5 for 9 on her way to 14 points. Erica Burton was another key player, putting up 11 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.

Evangel Christian Academy's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6. As for Chambers Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
