Volleyball Recap: Northport Mustangs vs. Cusick Panthers
Northport had won three straight home games and Kate Beardslee did her part to make it four on Tuesday. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cusick Panthers thanks in part to Beardslee, who had 14 kills, nine aces, eight digs, and three blocks. She has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last ten times she's played.
One reason for the win was Northport's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-13, 25-6.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northport to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dalilah Colton, who had 25 assists and ten digs. That's the most assists Colton has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Wilson, who had six digs and five aces.
Northport's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Cusick, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
