Softball Game Preview: Erwin Warriors vs. T.C. Roberson Rams

The Erwin Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the T.C. Roberson Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Erwin has given up an average of 6.9 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Erwin is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They lost 14-3 to McDowell.

Erwin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dusty Chapman, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 runs the game before, T.C. Roberson was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against A.C. Reynolds, falling 7-0. The Rams have struggled against the Rockets recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Erwin now has a losing record of 7-8. As for T.C. Roberson, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.

Everything went Erwin's way against T.C. Roberson in their previous meeting back in March, as Erwin made off with a 13-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
