Soccer Recap: Middlesex Comes Up Short

After flying high against North Plainfield on Monday, Middlesex came back down to earth. The Bluejays fell just short of the North Brunswick North Brunswick Raiders by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Middlesex were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced North Brunswick earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Middlesex now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for North Brunswick, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-4-1.

Coming up, Middlesex will venture away from home to square off against South Brunswick at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South Brunswick's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for North Brunswick, they will face off against Kennedy Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
