Basketball Recap: Chloe Neufeld Key Part of Team Effort in Bulldogs Win

Baldwin won the last time they faced Tonganoxie and things went their way on Monday too. The Baldwin Bulldogs came out on top against the Tonganoxie Chieftains by a score of 57-46. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Baldwin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chloe Neufeld led the charge by putting up 14 points. The dominant performance also gave Neufeld a new career-high in field goal percentage (67%). Another player making a difference was Audrey Searl, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds.

Baldwin's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Tonganoxie, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Coming up, Baldwin will venture away from home to face off against Bonner Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tonganoxie, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 45-42 loss against Ottawa on the 25th.
