Football Recap: Chatsworth Chancellors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
Chatsworth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell to the Cleveland Cavaliers 20-14. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chancellors of the 28-21 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
Domenik Fuentes was a one-man wrecking crew for Cleveland as he rushed for 97 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 147 yards and a touchdown.
Chatsworth now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Cleveland, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chatsworth is on the road again on Friday to play Taft at 7:00 p.m. As for Cleveland, they will head out to face off against Birmingham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
