Game recap

PARKER, Colo. - Legend (Parker, Colo.) saw its 30-point lead shrink to eight, but hung on to defeat Heritage (Littleton, Colo.) 37-29 on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a Peyton Remy touchdown run in the first quarter, the Titans led 37-7 at the half.

Legend's Remy scored two touchdowns on the ground in the victory.

Mikey Griebel played well for the Eagles. He threw one touchdown. His performance brought his touchdown total to six on the year.

The defeat comes as a step back for Heritage, which notched a 28-7 victory over Palmer in its previous outing. The win was a nice bounce back for Legend, which lost to Fountain-Fort Carson last week, 40-21. The loss broke Heritage's two-game winning streak.

Legend (5-2) will play a 5A Pioneer game against Rock Canyon next week, while Heritage (3-4) will take on Castle View also in a 5A Pioneer game.
