David City entered their tilt with Shelby-Rising City on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Huskies. That's more bragging rights for the Scouts, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant David City was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12.

David City found their leader in sophomore Sadie Nicolas, who had 12 assists and seven digs.

David City's win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Shelby-Rising City, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.

David City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Sutton on the 9th. As for Shelby-Rising City, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against McCool Junction on the 9th.
