Stump Posts Huge Game in 56-16 Win
Starting off the list is Kearny's Brodie Stump, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Stump threw for 380 yards and six touchdowns while completing 78.4% of his passes.
Stump must have Clairemont's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Stump saw the Chieftains), he threw for 448 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 47 yards.

Cooper Woodhall and Co. Win Fourth in a Row
Hoover picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Cooper Woodhall. Woodhall did his part (and then some), picking up 68 receiving yards and a touchdown for the 'W'.
Hoover is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Woodhall and Hoover will head out on the road to take on Canyon Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Zaiden Gravely Leads Kearny over Clairemont
Kearny was led to victory by Zaiden Gravely, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Gravely picked up 184 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
On the season, Gravely has caught 11 touchdowns while averaging 133.4 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had four receiving touchdowns.

Autry Made His Presence Known in Hoover's 42-32 Victory
The second Hoover player making an appearance here is Sir Autry, and for good reason. He rushed for 192 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 134 rushing yards dating back to last season.
If the past is any indication, Autry could be in store for another big game when he takes on Canyon Hills on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Autry saw the Rattlers ), he rushed for 322 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.4 yards per carry.

Jaylen Hill Delivers Best Effort of Season
Kearny was led to victory by Jaylen Hill, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Hill picked up 67 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made two total tackles.
This season, Hill has caught 2 touchdowns while averaging 39.6 receiving yards per game.
