Basketball Recap: Clinton's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Clinton had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 60-45 win over the Oak Grove Panthers on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Cardinals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Clinton's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Oak Grove, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clinton will welcome El Dorado Springs at 6:30 p.m. on February 4th. As for Oak Grove, they will challenge St. Paul Lutheran at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
