Whitman not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 4, 2024. They put the hurt on the Gaithersburg Trojans with a sharp 12-1 victory. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Cole Roman made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
