Basketball Recap: Brillion Triumphs

Brillion lost to Mosinee back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Brillion Lions walked away with a 56-46 victory over the Mosinee Indians.

Despite the defeat, Mosinee saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brayden Reinke dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. Reinke's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Treve Stoffel, who posted 11 points and eight rebounds.

Brillion's record now sits at 7-3. As for Mosinee, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-2.

Brillion wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 45-27 win against Two Rivers on the 7th. As for Mosinee, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-49 defeat against Northland Pines on the 7th.
