Basketball Game Preview: Creekside Seminoles vs. Griffin Bears

The Creekside Seminoles will square off against the Griffin Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Creekside is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Last Friday, everything went Creekside's way against Midtown as Creekside made off with a 59-37 victory. The Seminoles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 games by 20 points or more this season.

Creekside's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was C'India Dennis, who went 8-for-19 to rack up 20 points in addition to five assists and five boards. The contest was Dennis' third in a row with at least 20 points. Another player making a difference was Jacy Mitchell, who went 6-for-11 en route to 13 points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Griffin came up short against Starr's Mill on Thursday and fell 45-36. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 209th, while the Panthers are ranked 101st).

Griffin now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Creekside, their victory bumped their record up to 27-0.
