Softball Recap: North Salinas Vikings vs. Salinas Cowboys

North Salinas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell just short of the Salinas Cowboys by a score of 8-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to North Salinas of the 6-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

Kalea De Leon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with a stolen base and a double. Another player making a difference was Gabriela Perez, who went 3-for-4 with a double.
