Volleyball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Monday. Columbia came up short against Salem, falling 3-0. Columbia has struggled against Salem recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Salem, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Columbia will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on McComb at 6:30 p.m. on September 4. As for Salem, they will face off against Wesson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
