Volleyball Game Preview: Ontario Christian Knights vs. Arrowhead Christian Eagles

The Ontario Christian Knights will face off against the Arrowhead Christian Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Ontario Christian has seven straight wins, Arrowhead Christian has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Wednesday, Ontario Christian beat Redlands Adventist Academy 3-1.

Ontario Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-17, 25-14, 25-18.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Arrowhead Christian faced off against Aquinas on Thursday. The Eagles fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 3-2.

Arrowhead Christian couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Aquinas a tough time in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 22-25, 28-30, 25-17, 15-11.

Ontario Christian pushed their record up to 17-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Arrowhead Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

Ontario Christian took their win against Arrowhead Christian in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
