Volleyball Game Preview: Hendersonville Bearcats vs. T.C. Roberson Rams

Hendersonville hasn't had much luck against T.C. Roberson recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Bearcats will venture away from home to take on the Rams at 6:30 p.m. T.C. Roberson took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Hendersonville, who comes in off a win.

Hendersonville is headed out to face T.C. Roberson after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Bearcats walked away with a 3-1 win over East Henderson on Tuesday. The Bearcats haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Hendersonville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-16.

Averie Russell was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 27 digs and three aces.

Meanwhile, T.C. Roberson suffered their biggest loss since August 15, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Pisgah.

Hendersonville came up short against T.C. Roberson when the teams last played back in September of 2019, falling 3-1. Can the Bearcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
