Basketball Recap: Fort Worth THESA Comes Up Short

After flying high against Westlake Academy last Friday, Fort Worth THESA came back down to earth. The Fort Worth THESA Riders were outmatched by the Houston HomeSchool Raiders and fell 83-48. The Riders were not able to make up for their loss to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in March of 2023.

Fort Worth THESA's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Judah Graham, who went 5 for 7 to rack up 11 points, and Timmy Frank, who posted seven points. Frank has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Micah Ragsdale, who earned four points and five assists.

Fort Worth THESA has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 19-15 record this season. As for Houston HomeSchool, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season.

Fort Worth THESA wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 70-69 win against Aggieland HomeSchool on the 6th. As for Houston HomeSchool, they have also already played their next match, a 105-68 victory against Houston Homeschool Athletics on the 6th.
