Baseball Recap: Del Sol Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Del Sol's offense. They lost 16-0 to The Meadows School Mustangs on Friday. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jurni Jenkins put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Jenkins was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

In other pitching news, Eliseo Camacho got Del Sol off to a strong start despite the final result, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Del Sol's record is now 1-6. As for The Meadows School, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Del Sol will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Silverado at 3:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for The Meadows School, they will host Bellflower at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
