Soccer Game Preview: Francis W. Parker vs. Chicago University

Francis W. Parker hasn't had much luck against Chicago University recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Colonels will head out on the road to face off against the Maroons at 7:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Francis W. Parker managed to keep up with Lake Forest Academy until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Colonels came up short against the Caxys, falling 4-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Francis W. Parker haven't been shut out since back in March.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Chicago University's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 4-1 to Latin.

Francis W. Parker's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Chicago University, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3-1.

Francis W. Parker suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Chicago University in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Colonels avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
