Meanwhile, Madison Plains made easy work of Cedarville on Tuesday and carried off a 13-4 win. The Golden Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by eight runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Madison Plains and bumps their season record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Greeneview, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 5-3.

Greeneview beat Madison Plains 10-6 in their previous meeting last Tuesday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
