Basketball Recap: Johns Creek Takes a Loss

After soaring to 65 points the game before, Johns Creek was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Roswell Hornets 54-22. The match marked the Gladiators' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Johns Creek saw an underclassman step up: freshman Meredith Evans posted seven points and five boards.

Johns Creek's loss dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Roswell, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season.

Johns Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roswell, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-42 win against Lanier on the 13th.
