Jonathan Alder had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They won by a run and slipped past the Roger Bacon Spartans 4-3. The victory was familiar territory for the Pioneers, who have now won four games in a row.

Jonathan Alder's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-2.
