 Wayne Valley has been on the road for two straight, but  on Wednesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Watchung Hills Regional Warriors at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
 Last Monday, it was a hard-fought  match, but Wayne Valley had to settle for  a  4-3 loss against Passaic County Tech.
  Brandon Van Peenen was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Christian Varano, who  went 1-for-3 with three  stolen bases.
 Meanwhile, while it was Watchung Hills Regional who put the first points on the board on Tuesday, it was Montgomery who put up more. Watchung Hills Regional took  a  13-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of Montgomery.
  Stefano Digeronimo was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Digeronimo was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 In other pitching news, Watchung Hills Regional got a good showing from  Joseph Oleske, who   pitched 2.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 Back at the plate,  Jake Keirstead made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-4 with a  home run and two  RBI.  Jacob Jaconski was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 Wayne Valley has  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last eight contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record  this season. As for Watchung Hills Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12-1.
