After losing to New Heights Christian Academy the last time they met, Wheaton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 17-4 margin over the Cougars on Friday. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Wheaton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for New Heights Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.

Looking ahead, Wheaton will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Galena at 5:00 p.m. As for New Heights Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Pittsburg at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Dragons have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
