Softball Recap: Hall Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Hall's offense. They lost 16-0 to the Princeton Tigers on Monday. That's two games in a row now that the Red Devils have lost by exactly 16 runs.

Hall has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season. As for Princeton, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hall will head out to take on Riverdale at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Red Devils' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Princeton, they will venture away from home to challenge Mendota at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
