Basketball Game Preview: Monroe Dragons vs. Waldport Irish

The Monroe Dragons will head out on the road to challenge the Waldport Irish at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Monroe and six for Waldport.

Last Tuesday, Monroe came up short against Central Linn and fell 57-49.

Meanwhile, Waldport lost to Toledo on the road by a 54-39 margin on Tuesday.

Waldport's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Monroe, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.

Monroe strolled past Waldport in their previous matchup on January 14th by a score of 50-36. The rematch might be a little tougher for Monroe since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
