Baseball Recap: Jupiter Christian Victorious

Jupiter Christian's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Oxbridge Academy ThunderWolves by a score of 6-1. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered an 11-7 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Jupiter Christian's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Parker Schenck, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The Eagles are 4-1 when Schenck posts two or more runs, but 6-7 otherwise. Luke Winters was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Jupiter Christian hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Jupiter Christian's record now sits at 10-8. As for Oxbridge Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.

Looking ahead, Jupiter Christian will host Berean Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Oxbridge Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 14-4 defeat against King's Academy on the 14th.
