Softball Recap: East Limestone Takes a Loss

East Limestone fell victim to Madison Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 8-0. The Indians have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

East Limestone's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Madison Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

East Limestone will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Athens Bible at 4:30 p.m. on April 1. As for Madison Academy, they have already played their next game, an 11-4 victory against New Hope on the 21st.
