Baseball Recap: Centralia's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Monday just wasn't the day for Centralia's offense. They fell 4-0 to the South Callaway Bulldogs on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Centralia saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Henry Bohlmeyer, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.

Having lost for the first time this season, Centralia fell to 3-1. As for South Callaway, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Centralia Panthers face off against Bowling Green Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Callaway, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Tipton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
