St. Xavier extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 6-8-1 in the process. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Walnut Hills Eagles. The Bombers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

As for Walnut Hills, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly ten runs.
