Softball Recap: Marshall's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After only two runs in their last game, Marshall made sure to put some runs up on the board against Wilson on Wednesday. The Barristers walked away with a 15-11 win over the Mules. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-9 back in April.

The team relied heavily on Elaine Reynoso, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Shyanne Velis was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Marshall's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-7. As for Wilson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.
