            Basketball Recap: Huntsville Hornets vs. West Brook Bruins        
        
		
        
        
            Huntsville and West Brook squared off in some playoff action  on Friday, but Huntsville had to settle for second. The  contest between them and the West Brook Bruins didn't end well, with the Huntsville Hornets falling  64-48. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings  (they are ranked 214th, while the Bruins are ranked 11th).
 It was another big night for  Elijah Garrett, who  went 9-for-13  on his way to 21 points in addition to seven  rebounds and four  steals for West Brook. Garrett is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Austin Stewart, who  almost  dropped  a double-double with nine  points and ten  boards.
Huntsville's defeat dropped their record down to 19-9. As for West Brook, the  victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 34-2.
 Huntsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Brook, they will take on East View at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. West Brook is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.5  points per game  this season.
