Football Recap: Logan's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Logan extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 3-0. They strolled past the Tug Valley Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 27-12. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 13-6 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Lucas Lambert was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 68 receiving yards and one score. Those 130 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Logan didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Luvante Kenney.

As for Tug Valley, they now have a losing record of 1-2. Having soared to a lofty 51 points in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

Despite the loss, Tug Valley still got an impressive performance from Derek Jewell, who picked up 101 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Cameron Slone also helped out with an impressive 86 receiving yards.

Logan didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 32-6 win against Wayne on the 19th. As for Tug Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 44-12 victory against Wyoming East on the 19th.
