Basketball Recap: Algonac Takes a Loss

After soaring to 59 points the game before, Algonac was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They were outmatched by the Imlay City Spartans and fell 54-18. The loss was the Muskrats' first of the season.

Algonac dropped their record down to 2-1 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Imlay City, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-2.

Algonac will be home for the holidays to greet Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Algonac is facing Madison at the right time seeing as Madison is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Imlay City, they will head out to challenge Armada at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
