Volleyball Game Preview: Ceres Bulldogs vs. Central Valley Hawks + Official Tickets

The Ceres Bulldogs will face off against the Central Valley Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Ceres' favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Central Valley has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

On Monday, Ceres didn't have quite enough to beat Beyer and fell 3-2.

Ceres actually scored more points across those five sets (107-102), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-22, 13-25, 25-21, 24-26, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Central Valley came up short against Lathrop on Monday, falling 3-0.

While Central Valley was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-15, 25-13.

Ceres now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Central Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-19.

Ceres took their victory against Central Valley in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
