Village Christian Academy had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Fayetteville Academy on Monday. The Knights blew past the Eagles 3-0. The win was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on five straight.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-8, 25-9.

Celeste Horn paced Village Christian Academy's offense, picking up 22 kills. Horn got some help from Meghan Holzinger and her 24 assists. Horn was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Village Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Fayetteville Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-16 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coming up, Village Christian Academy will welcome Northwood Temple Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fayetteville Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
