Huge Catholic league title games Monday in DMV, Philadelphia will have major rankings impact.

MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Boys Basketball Rankings presented by the Army National Guard

1. (No. 1 last week) Chino Hills (Calif.), 28-0
Lonzo Ball, LiAngelo Ball and Elizjah Scott all went over 20 points Friday night in a 100-66 win over Santa Margarita to open the CIF Southern Section Open Division playoffs. The Huskies face Inglewood on Tuesday in the quarterfinals. Keep in mind, should Chino Hills advance through the Southern Section bracket, it will have to do it all over again at the state level – potentially meeting a team like No. 6 Sierra Canyon or No. 16 Bishop Montgomery twice.

2. (2) Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.), 37-1
Extending their win streak to 34 games, the Warriors went over 100 points on back-to-back nights over the weekend.

3. (3) Montverde Academy (Fla.), 25-1
Regular season complete. The Eagles indicated via Twitter that they expect to be in the field for Dick's Sporting Goods High School Nationals.

4. (4) Atascocita (Humble, Texas), 32-0
Everything is bigger in Texas – even when it comes to high school basketball. The UIL's state tournament format is further evidence as 768 teams earn a spot in one of six different brackets (1A through 6A). Atascocita opens Class 6A play Tuesday against Klein.

5. (5) St. Anthony (Jersey City, N.J.), 23-0
Georgetown signee Jagan Mosely paced the Friars with 21 points Saturday in a 52-41 win over St. Augustine Prep (Richland).

6. (6) Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, Calif.), 24-3
Like No. 1 Chino Hills, Sierra Canyon opened CIF Southern Section Open Division play by making a statement. The Trailblazers dominated a 23-win Los Alamitos club 85-40 behind a team-high 21 points from Devearl Ramsey. A trip to Redondo Union – No. 11 nationally in the MaxPreps Computer rankings – is up next.

7. (7) U-D Jesuit (Detroit, Mich.), 17-0
As WXYZ reported last week, U-D Jesuit opened its doors in 1877 but has never won a basketball state title. Cassius Winston and the Cubs have a shot to re-write that history this season.

8. (8) Stevens Point (Wis.), 21-0
The Panthers haven't lost in 12 months, extending their win streak to 30 games Friday night with a 29-point thrashing of D.C. Everest (Schofield).

9. (9) Wayne (Huber Heights, Ohio), 23-0
Winning their 33rd game in a row, the Warriors opened the postseason Saturday with a 100-24 win over West Carrollton.

10. (10) Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.), 25-1
Head coach Andy Johnson is 54-4 in two years on the job in Henderson.

11. (11) St. Benedict's Prep (Newark, N.J.), 27-1
The Gray Bees captured the New Jersey prep school title Saturday with a 64-52 win over Blair Academy (Blairstown).

12. (12) St. John's (Washington, D.C.), 27-3
St. John's-DeMatha III is set to go off Monday for the WCAC tournament championship. The nationally-ranked conference foes split the regular season series.

13. (13) DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.), 26-4
The Stags did their part to set up a third go-around with St. John's by beating Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.) 79-66 on Sunday.

14. (14) Providence Day (Charlotte, N.C.), 30-3
Charlotte Observer columnist Langston Wertz Jr. may have been the proudest papa in America on Saturday as son Trey Wertz led the Chargers to the NCISAA 3A title with 25 points. Providence Day beat Kentucky-bound Edrice Adebayo and High Point Christian Academy 67-54 in the final. Could be a candidate for Dick's Nationals as NCISAA 3A champ Greensboro Day participated in the event last year.

15. (15) Seton Hall Prep (West Orange, N.J.), 24-1
The last six wins for the Pirates have come by an average margin of 34.6 points per game.

16. (16) Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, Calif.), 25-1
The Knights face Damien (La Verne) on Tuesday in the CIF Southern Section Open Division quarterfinals.

17. (17) La Lumiere (LaPorte, Ind.), 24-3
Wins against East Chicago Central and Gary West this week would likely wrap up an invite to Dick's Nationals for the Lakers.

18. (18) Apple Valley (Minn.), 25-1
Under head coach Zach Goring, the Eagles are 113-6 over the past four seasons.

19. (19) Neumann-Goretti (Philadelphia), 22-2
Big Monday in Philadelphia as the Saints face formerly-ranked Roman Catholic in the Catholic League tournament final at the famed Palestra.

20. (20) Greenforest (Decatur, Ga.), 27-2
St. Francis (Alpharetta) beat Greenforest in last year's Class A state title game and a rematch could be in the works.

21. (21) Chaminade (St. Louis, Mo.), 21-5
The Red Devils get an extended break before opening Class 5 district play March 3.

22. (22) Hopkins (Minnetonka, Minn.), 25-1
Five Royals finished the regular season averaging double figures, led by Amir Coffey (19.9 points per game) and joined by Vinnie Shahid (15.0), Ishmael El-Amin (14.9), Xavier Johnson (14.3) and Simon Wright (11.5).

23. (23) Hamilton Heights Christian Academy (Chattanooga, Tenn.), 24-3
A 26-9 first quarter propelled the Hawks to a 75-43 win over Lighthouse Christian (Antioch) on Friday night.

24. (25) Garfield (Seattle, Wash.), 23-2
Junior Jaylen Nowell went for 24 points Saturday as the Bulldogs trounced Bellevue 87-57 in the SeaKing district title game.

25. (NR) DeSoto (Texas), 29-2
Cold, hard, computer-driven data from two different sources loves DeSoto's body of work this season. The MaxPreps computer rankings (compiled by Ned Freeman) have the Eagles at No. 6 nationally while USA Today's computer rankings (compiled by Ken Massey) have them at No. 13.

Dropped out: No. 24 Greensboro Day (Greensboro, N.C.)

On the bubble: Althoff Catholic (Belleville, Ill.), Dakota (Macomb, Mich.), Memphis East (Memphis, Tenn.), Scotlandville (Baton Rouge, La.), Simeon (Chicago), Taylor Allderdice (Pittsburgh, Pa.)
